Olivia Steinman is a photographer based in Sarnia, Ontario. She studied photography at OCADU, Toronto. After graduating, she returned to her hometown where she co-founded an artist-run centre and collaborated with fellow local artists to create space for community-based exhibitions and creative projects.

Olivia specializes in portrait photography, working with natural light and capturing people in their everyday environments. She is particularly known for her artist portraits, photographing subjects in their studio spaces to reflect the connection between person and process. Her personal work documents everyday life with her children.

Her photography has been featured in selected exhibitions in Sarnia and Toronto. Her recent project titled Familiar Faces, documents international students as they navigate the early stages of life in Canada. The project is featured in the April 2025 issue of Maclean’s magazine Artist Feature, Macleans Magazine, Familiar Faces
